This characteristic Denning Motorhome is available NOW to take on board a new family to travel the country. Excellent value.
Originally brought to Australia to work as a passenger coach between Melbourne and Adelaide, this bus was converted into a motorhome in 2005.
The bus affectionately called 'Jack' by previous owners, has taken three families around Australia in the last 12 years.
He is available NOW for new owners to make their dream to see the continent, a reality.
The maintenance of both the exterior as well as the interior has been of a high standard. A folder with all receipts, manuals and guarantees will show all the changes and upgrades the bus has seen from it's conversion to present.
Right behind the driver's seat there are four seats with retractable lab/sash seat belts, 2 on either side of the walkway.
On entering the bus you will notice the spacious living room. A table and a u-shaped couch, with another couch opposite the table will provide plenty room for a family to share a meal, do arts, crafts or schoolwork. The table can be lowered to create extra sleeping space if needed. Five more seatbelts are fitted in the sitting area.
Further down is a spacious kitchen featuring a gas-electric freezer and fridge combination as well as 4-pit gas stove top, grill and oven, microwave and plenty storage drawers and pantry cupboard.
Following the kitchen towards the end of the bus is a separate shower on the left hand side and a toilet with vanity unit on the right side.
Currently there are 3 bunks, easily converted to 4 bunks or reversed back to 2 bunks and extra storage cabinets. This bus will sleep comfortably any family of 4 up to 6, or even 7, like us.
In the very end of the bus is a Queen-size bed with more cabinets, providing a very cozy sleeping area.
The bus has 2 ceiling units for heating and air-conditioning.
In the belly of the bus is ample space for everyday articles needed for outdoor living, such as camping chairs, outdoor table and benches, BBQ and more. There is a washing machine that can wash loads up to 7kg. A washing dryer is also featured. Further more there is a unit with 16batteries to provide the 'house' with energy while parked. A generator is built in for back up, as is an inverter.
There is a 1000litre fresh water tank, a 150litre grey water and 400litre black water holding tank.
Dumping black water is easy with a macerator pump provided.
On the roof there are 6 large solar panels situated to power the batteries, as well as the air conditioner units. A TV antenna is also found on the roof, which is managed with a lever inside the bus.
A large awning will provide shade and a generous outdoor area to sit and entertain which can be extended with multiple zip up flaps to create a full tent. There is even an outside shower to wash of sand after a visit to the beach.
The trailer has been purpose designed and built to fit this bus and can carry a Toyota Tarago or Prado or similar, as well as 7 push bikes, a rigid inflatable boat with outboard motor, surfboards, wetsuits, fishing and snorkeling gear, life vests, engine oil for the bus and so on. More space is created by a mezzanine floor in the trailer that can store extra boxes with spare parts for the bus and personal belongings, seasonal clothes, and whatever else you may wish to take with you on your journey.
