Enjoy more space then you’ll know what to do with in the beefed up Toyota Kluger Grande AWD.

If you’re looking for a vehicle with room to move – not to mention big tow capacity and good looks to boot – then the Toyota Kluger Grande AWD might just be your perfect match.

The Kluger is clearly a bigger vehicle on the inside – and the way that the seats fold to provide ample storage options is a step-up on the previous model, too.

The high seating position and the typically Toyota clear, well-marked controls and instruments make the Kluger driver feel at home quickly. The comfortable heated and ventilated leather seats standard at Grande level are an absolute boon too, and vision is good out of what is a large vehicle.

Storage options up front are excellent - the open parcel tray across the lower dashboard is a convenient place for placing small items, while for covered storage of larger items the huge centre console bin – shielded with a neat roll-back lid – is an excellent design.

While the V6 does provide ample performance, it appears to come at a cost in its fuel economy. We saw a best of 13.6L/100km while driving unladen in a mix of open-road cruising and urban conditions, and a worst figure of 20.7L/100km while towing a 1700kg caravan.
