Description
The Habitat HA2 is a multi-terrain touring motorhome that allows you to go off-grid, travel further, stay longer and camp more remotely. If it is freedom you desire, this is the motorhome for you.
With features such as higher ground clearance, all terrain tyres, checker plate finish, increased rear departure angle and bull bar, this is a more robust motorhome.
At 5200 GVM, you will require a Light Rigid Licence, but it drives like a car, with power steering, automatic transmission, and cruise control plus electric windows, steering wheel controls, air conditioning, the Iveco Navigation and Entertainment System, and it even has heated seats!
The extra benefit of a rear double garage allows for safe storage of e.g. 2 push-bikes, including e-bikes, with additional storage above on the drop-down platform. There are 2 power points plus lights in the garage, and extra storage under the slide-out lower platform.
The rear utility platform with electric winch allows for easy removal of the spare tyre and easy access to the drop-down clothesline. There is also a caddy for the jerry can.
An external hot/cold shower is convenient to hose off sandy feet after the beach, have a shower or even wash your pets.
The kitchen is well equipped with a 190litre compressor fridge, microwave, gas cook-top and oven, large sink with cover, separate filtered water tap, splash back and plenty of storage.
The living area has 2 leather bench-style lounge seats, a removable telescopic table, and 3 flexible reading lights, with a comfortable space-saving bed that drops down at the push of a button. Windows are fitted with blinds and insect screens. A Sirocco fan has been fitted along with 2 roof vents with reversible fans, one above the bed and the other in the kitchen area.
There is a separate bathroom with concertina privacy door, screened shower with light and electric fan, ceramic flush toilet, ceramic hand basin, towel rails and a towel ring, hooks for hats, etc., and loads of cupboard space.
You will be very happy with the on-board entertainment. There is an NCE Smart Bluetooth TV with remote control, DVD and USB. The TV is mounted on a swivel bracket within its own storage space, complete with 2 safety straps for travelling. The external TV aerial mounted on the roof is simply operated from inside. Then there is the Bluetooth sound system with 2 internal and 2 external speakers, separately controlled.
There are no worries when it comes to charging your devices, with several 240V power outlets (kitchen, bathroom, lounge, external and garage), with all but the external also powered by the 3000W Pure Sine Inverter. Then there are USB and cigarette-lighter style sockets distributed throughout the motorhome, including in the house battery locker.
There is a bull bar with led-lightbar, and further light-bars mounted on the remaining 3 sides of the vehicle for your safety. The Habitat is fitted with 2 extra seat-belts, so you can legally travel with 4 people.
The Habitat HA2 is truly a home away from home.
