The time has come for us to sell our lovingly converted Bus. What turned out to be our covid project (we purchased just before the pandemic hit) has provided us with many memories and some much needed family time. It’s now ready for someone else to enjoy travelling this great big country of ours.
It would also suit someone looking to put a home on vacant land.
We completely stripped this bus from a 55 seater school bus and made it into a beautiful home on wheels. All interior work was completed by a qualified carpenter and the finish is first class.
Our bus is a 1994 Hino RG197 which we have converted to a motorhome. It has a Vicroads NHVR Approval Certificate as a ‘Motorhome’. Tare 9700kg GVM 14200kg. The bus is 12m long and 2.5m wide. Registered currently until 5 May 2025. Last roadworthy was 14/4/21 at 469,247km when we did the conversion registration to a motorhome, certified 30/04/21 has only done 11,500km since last roadworthy. It has a manual transmission. It is certified to seat 5 passengers, each with seat belts.
