Avida Topaz Multi Terrain: 2015 Review
Avida is one of the newest names in the caravan industry yet, ironically, it is also one of the biggest and longest-serving RV manufacturers. With almost 40 years’ experience building motorhomes in its sprawling western Sydney factory, Avida added caravans to its manufacturing base just 18 months ago.
Since then, the initial range of Avida Sapphire caravans has been augmented by the Topaz. The Topaz, introduced in July 2014, is the result of customer demand – buyers wanted a wider choice of colours and trim than Avida could deliver with the Sapphire. The Topaz offers 13 different fabrics (three are what the company calls ‘Ultraleather’), 13 different exterior decal colours, three cabinet colour options, and three choices of splashbacks.
THE BOTTOM LINE
This van is built with extreme attention to detail with an eye to long-term durability. While this particular layout may not be perfect, there is not much to criticise in this extremely well-provisioned and beautifully-built caravan.
