World’s First Non-Electric Heated Sleeping Bag

Camping in winter has become more enjoyable!

In preparation for the cooler months to come, Oztent Group have released the Redgum Hotspot Heated Sleeping Bag, the world’s first non-electric heat adjustable sleeping bag. The sleeping bag has been designed around six trademarked Hotspot pouches positioned around core active heating locations on the body. This means you can adjust the bag to get the amount of heat you need.

Oztent say that, unlike an electrical mechanism, these pouches achieve ‘heat normality’. This means that it releases the most warmth when activated, as the camper goes to bed, then evenly and gradually releases heat into the bag throughout the night to synchronise with the camper as their temperature normalises. These pouches can be heated up to 53 degrees Celsius, in seconds, and have been tested for up to 500 uses.

The HotSpot pouches can also be used with many of Oztent’s chairs and other products.

Of course, the Redgum sleeping bag can also be used without the heat pouches in warmer months, and beyond its adjustable warmth, it also features a ripstop cotton canvas outer shell, T-Therm insulation, trademarked Comfort Plus fabric collar, and an anti-snag zipper that can easily be connected to a second bag to make a double width sleeping bag.

Oztent’s Redgum Hotspot Heated Sleeping Bag will be exclusively released through BCF stores.
